Sell Your Baby Clothes About Us

I have been selling pre-owned baby clothing since 2001. It all began when a family friend had her first baby, which was my first real introduction into the world of babies! I was shocked by the amount of clothing he had out grown in such a small amount of time. There were bags of out grown clothing stored in her spare room for months until they eventually ended up at a local charity shop. It seemed such a waste, it all still looked like new and some items were unworn with price tags still attached. She explained that she had planned to sell it but just never got round to it and needed to make some room.

Over the next few years more of my friends and family had babies and this situation kept re-occuring. I decided to start selling pre-owned baby clothing to see if there was a market for it.

The clothing sold really well and a few years later I opened a baby clothing agency shop. This was where the agency business I have today began.

The shop was a huge success and traded for five years but within this time I was selling most things via the internet so decided to close the shop and expand the business online.

I had my first baby in 2008 and gained first hand experience of why we end up with so much clothing. People 'went mad' including myself, my baby had a bigger wardrobe than me but I didn't care! My son had a new outfit on nearly every day for the first few months of his life. I didn't realise just how much clothing people buy as gifts when you have a baby. To be honest I could have just bought vests and socks....but where is the fun in that?

Babies grow up too fast to worry about the
clothing that they don't get enough wear out
of. Selling it is the answer, it is a great
way to make yourself some money whilst
playing a part in recycling at the same time.
